The Long Bar in Singapore offers an unmissable atmosphere, complemented by truly delicious cocktails. This experience is a must for any visitor (refer to photo one above (left).
- Local Hawker Centre Beer Gardens: Enjoy affordable beers and a lively atmosphere at hawker centres like Newton Food Centre or Lau Pa Sat.
- Wine Connection: A popular chain offering a wide selection of wines at reasonable prices, with several locations across the city. For quality meals and drinks at reasonable prices, this chain is a great choice; I recommend it.
- 13% Wine Bistro @Telok Ayer: This charming wine bar offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, complemented by an extensive wine list and delectable cheese and charcuterie boards. A truly delightful experience – we highly recommend it.
- The Grande Whisky Museum: This museum offers a luxurious and educational journey through the world of fine whiskies, showcasing a remarkable collection of rare and antique bottles, with a tasting after the tour. Our choice of the Introduction to Whiskies tasting was excellent. It's a truly fabulous experience that I'd highly recommend for whisky novices or those keen to deepen their appreciation within this unique museum setting. (refer to photo one below (left).
Distillery Tours & Tastings
- Brass Lion Distillery: Singapore's first full-fledged gin distillery, offering tours and tastings of their locally crafted gins. This experience is truly exceptional. I found it to be excellent value, and the gin is simply exquisite. Highly recommended (refer to photo three above (right).
- Compendium Spirits: A local distillery crafting unique spirits using Southeast Asian ingredients.
- Tanglin Distillery: Discover Singapore's pioneering gin distillery, just a short trip from Orchard Road. This experience provides an insightful introduction to gin distillation and the fascinating history of gin in Singapore (refer to photo two above (middle).
Best Rooftop Bars
- LAVO Italian Restaurant & Rooftop Bar at Marina Bay Sands and Lantern at The Fullerton Bay Hotel offer prime viewing spots.
- CÉ LA VI at Marina Bay Sands, is also a very well known location.
- LeVel33 offers views of the marina bay, along with being a microbrewery.
- Mr Stork at Andaz Singapore.
- Smoke & Mirrors at the National Gallery offers a classy cocktail experience in a cultural setting.
